Recently she has hosted The Block NZ, and is also a veteran of the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, having hosted the event for four consecutive years to date.

The prestigious awards, now in collaboration with The New Zealand Association of Registered Beauty Therapists Inc, has been awarding young talents and experienced beauty professionals for their distinguished achievements in the beauty and spa industry for 10 years. This year, awards will be presented for NZ Therapist of the Year, NZ Most Promising Therapist, Best Business Model, Best New Business Model, NZ Make-Up Artist of the Year and NZ Nail Technician of the Year.

Submissions for the 2015 awards are now closed and award entrants are eagerly waiting to hear the winner announcements at the NZ Beauty Industry Awards Evening in July. This is a time to celebrate and give recognition to the industry’s elite, as well as an opportunity for salon owners, management and their staff to enjoy an entertaining night out. The Awards Evening, previously consisting of a black tie gala dinner, has a slightly different arrangement, with the gala dinner being substituted for a lively cocktail evening.

Tickets for the cocktail evening are on sale now at an affordable price of $85 (inc gst) per person. The ticket price includes a welcome drink, two spectacular performances by the NZ Body Art team, the 2015 award presentation, sumptuous food, drinks and a DJ to complete the evening. Organisers are encouraging salon owners, management and their staff to get together to support the industry and enjoy an entertaining night out.

Ticket holders will have the pleasure of viewing a captivating performance presented by New Zealand’s finest body painters and dancers. The New Zealand Body Art Trust with the support and talent of the Apollo Theatre School dancers and other performers will perform ‘Beauty versus Beast’, a story of the challenge between what is classified as beauty and what is a beast.

Tickets are limited and can be booked online. For more information on the 2015 Industry Awards Evening and to book a ticket, visit the awards website www.nzbeautyindustryawards.com.
