Exciting new brand for Beauty Sense

Waterlily has partnered with Beauty Sense as their New Zealand distributor. Founded in 2004 by qualified Aromatherapist Michelle Reeve, the brand is based on aromatherapy practice. Passionate about natural medicine and nutrition and unsatisfied with the offerings of synthetic brands on the market, Michelle was inspired to develop an authentic spa brand that reflects the fundamental values of active and ethical spa rituals.

Says Reeve: “Waterlily is a luxe spa ritual and skin care label with a core focus on advanced performance and ethical sustainability, crafting active plant and aromaceutical products developed from meticulous formulations, artisanal blending techniques and the finest of nutrient-rich ingredients.

“The brand is 100 percent Australian crafted and utilises at least 95 percent of active, botanical or organic matter to certify efficacy within each formulation. The promise of purity ensures all Waterlily products from both collections (Waterlily Prescriptions and Spaceuticals) are free from mineral oils, sulphates, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, synthetic colours, fillers and fragrances, and adulterated essential oil compounds.”

Reflecting the demand for corrective skin prescriptions, the new Prescriptives (Spaceuticals) is a dynamic line of innovative cosmeceuticals, being a premium skin care correctives collection which marries the best of botanical luxury with the remedial and regenerative skin nutraceuticals and cosmeceutical actives. Formulated using AHA’s and BHA’s to refine and renew skin, along with potent antioxidants including resveratrol, coenzyme Q10, proteins and peptides, alpha lipoic acid and beta glucan, the skin care line offers a concentrate of superfood nutrients and naturopathic herbs for a visibly rejuvenated complexion. Says Reeve:  “After dedicated application, fine lines are smoothed, skin is firmed and hydrated, collagen syntheses are stimulated, skin immunity is strengthened and overall blemishes, spots and scarring is reduced, creating a refined skin texture toned and revitalised with a glowing luminosity.”

Although Australian at heart, Waterlily draws inspiration for new product formulations from an abundance of global sources including France, India, Morocco, South Pacific and the Amalfi Coast of Italy. A sojourn for the senses, the collections are rich in aromatic essential oils, organic French clays, cold pressed plant oils, anti-ageing vitamins, healing herbs and lashings of exotic fruit, floral and marine extracts.

Michelle says she is delighted to have partnered with such a well-respected and long established New Zealand Company and is confident they will represent her brand with honour and integrity. υ
