'Tis the season to be busy!

Hard to believe the Christmas Season is almost upon us again and another year has quickly passed. We know it’s frantic for everyone, apart from the rush Christmas brings, all the Clinics are usually at their busiest peak of the year and coping with all the additional stress of long hours and too many commitments, both business and personal take a toll.
Remember, it’s not just your clients who need pampering, you must ensure you are able to keep up the frenetic pace by also taking good care of yourselves!
Still on the topic of Christmas and clients, have you decided what you might be giving your ‘special’ clients? Corporate gift opportunities abound out there. We are currently looking at what’s available that might be suitable for our members and need some feedback. We would appreciate a quick email of suggested items you would be interested in the Association investigating to be branded with your clinic’s name and logo and also the Association logo and membership. If you need some inspiration, here are some websites which may help:

www.maxum.co.nz
www.nationalpen.co.nz
Again, please email me at the address below with suggested items for the Association to consider.
Another Survey
Yes, we need some more information from our members to assist with our forward planning and marketing work. We will be emailing our survey in November to all our members’ email addresses, so if you’re not on our list and want to participate, please email our Secretary with your details. If you have received an email survey before, you’re on our list. If any of your details have changed, please advise the Secretary. There will again be a prize for completing our survey.
Two Goodbyes and a Hello
As you may have already read by the time you get to this page, we are farewelling our long time publishers, Spot On Publications with this issue being their last. I would like to thank them for all their hard work and wish them well in the future.
Also, we are very sad to hear that personal business commitments have meant that Shirley-Anne Williams has to leave the position of Association Secretary. Shirley-Anne has been a joy to work with, so very reliable, meticulous in detail, always going the extra mile. With Shirley-Anne, we have been able to take the Association to a higher level of professionalism which I’m sure everyone has noticed. I would also like to sincerely thank Shirley-Anne for her dedication and hard work and wish her all the best in the future.
Finally, a big welcome to Adrenalin Publishing who we are looking forward to working with to help take the magazine on to new heights. There are some interesting new plans and changes that will be unveiled in the new year.
On that note, I would like to wish you all a wonderful, safe and happy Christmas with your nearest and dearest, don’t work too hard, save some for home! Looking forward to a prosperous and happy 2008!
